Dr. Gabriele Arenz is scientific associate at the Department of Physical Anthropology, Institute of Forensic Medicine, University of Bern, where she coordinates all activities in the laboratory (preparation, analysis, and archiving of samples for isotopic analyses). Dr Arenz is a dentist specialized in children and juveniles.

Her research focus includes the analysis of dental data for estimating age-at-death in forensic and bioarchaeological contexts, and the application of isotopic methods for the reconstruction of diet and mobility in the past.

Her role in CELTUDALPS includes the sampling, analysis, and interpretation of isotopic data.
