Dr. Marco Milella is research assistant at the Department of Physical Anthropology, Institute of Forensic Medicine, University of Bern. Dr Milella is a bioarchaeologist interested in the biological correlates (diet, health) of social differentiation in the past, and in the link between cultural and genetic variability.

His research has so far covered a variety of archaeological contexts (from Neolithic in Anatolia to Roman Italy to Medieval Spain).

Dr. Milella is, together with Dr. Albert Zink, the scientific coordinator of the CELTUDALPS project. His duties include sample collection, statistical analysis of data, supervision of scientific outputs.
