Ramón López Gijón is PhD student in Biomedicine at the University of Granada, studying ancient populations of the Iberian Peninsula through palaeoparasitology. His main scientific interest is the analysis of parasite remains recovered from archaeological contexts and the discussion of their possible link to health and disease patterns in past populations.
His role in CELTUDALPS is the paleoparasitological study of soil samples from Italian funerary contexts.
