Dr. Sandra Lösch is head of the Department of Physical Anthropology, Institute of Forensic Medicine, University of Bern. PD Dr. Lösch is a physical anthropologist and bioarchaeologist interested in the connections between biological and socio-cultural variability among human populations.

Her research focus is the application of isotopic techniques for addressing questions about subsistence, social stratification and mobility in the past.

She coordinates various forensic and bioarchaeological projects in Switzerland and surrounding regions, as well as in other contexts worldwide dating from Prehistory to Modern Times.

Her roles in CELTUDALPS include logistic management and support, and interpretation of the bioarchaeological and isotopic data.
