Stefania Zingale is a biological anthropologist with a background in molecular Anthropology and bioarcheological Genetics, and a strong interest in Human Population Genetics and Celtic Culture. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute for Mummy Studies – Eurac Research and enrolled at the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München.
Her research focuses mainly on Ancient Human Genomics, Human Population Genetics and Evolutionary Anthropology.
Working on CeltUDAlps, she will perform aDNA analyses – both genetic and statistical – on the Italian and swiss individuals, under scientific supervision of Dr. Valentina Coia. This project presents the fundament for her Ph.D. dissertation.
